It was disintegrated. While looking at the Old Coleman Parts site. I noticed the feed tube shown on their site for a 288 model is two different colors. Pull the burner cage off. Install the generator and pricker onto the valve with the tip off. With the pricker in the fully extended position, carefully install the tip onto the pricker wire, making sure it goes through the tip orifice. Pump up the fount and test for function.
