I know the data is there in the OBD II data, because there is a temp sensor in the tranny, and because Honda can monitor ATF temps with their dealer tools. Depends on the scanner, but yes. Saturday I changed the ATF on my wife's '16 highlander. My ScanGuage ii read the ATF temp so I could adjust the level correctly. Here's the Toyota specific code ScanGuage supports.
