Jake brake not working on high
Hi. We have a 6nz c15 (6nz92014) with only low engine braking working and low on the high position, nothing on medium. We have checked solenoids, both manually and giving each one power, checked engine brake controller in another truck, checked wiring from ecu to solenoids and each wire has continuity, had a computer plugged in and it said the ...The most important thing to do though if you're using them on wet or snowy roads is to make sure you use them in conjunction with the foot pedal. The problem with Jake brakes is that they're only using your tractor drive tires to slow the vehicle. Too much braking force on a set of wheels can lock them up.

Removed valve covers, Cyliders 3-4 jakes work on low. Cylinder 1-2 and 5-6 work on medium. On high only banks 1-2 and 5-7 work. The middle bank does not compress the Jake slave pistons.
