So you can field strip parts from gun, repair them, and fit them back. Except barrel. Anomaly - Technician Tools Problem? Hey Stalkers. I am trying to upgrade my gear at the duty technician in Anomaly. Many of the upgrade options state that the technician requires tools. I have "Expert Tools" and "Basic Tools" in my inventory, both of which state that "A technician could use these to fully modify weapons and armor".I guess if you need to sprint in an Exo, it could be an issue. Expert tools can be found in stashes in red forest and above only. The higher you go the better the chance is. For example: in red forest it’s 1/6 but in Pripyat it’s 1/2.
